About Deep Canyon

For over two decades Richard has been roasting for his small coffee house in North Carolina and perfecting his roast style. Low volume and very small batches allowed him to develop a roast profile that delivers an amazingly smooth cup that quickly gained recognition among his customers for it's superior quality.

In an effort to reach a wider audience and share this incredible coffee, Michael began selling his father's coffees online and shortly after began roasting at his facility in Colorado founding Deep Canyon Coffee. Adding a new variety of blends to the impeccable line of single origins, Michael roasts the same way Richard instructed on the very same equipment to retain that signature roast quality.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast and nature lover, Michael drew upon his surroundings and inspirations when choosing the name Deep Canyon. (Well, there was also a funny little donkey named Canyon but that's a topic for the campfire.) The name embodies his connection to the lands, places, and people that have shaped his ambitions and he wants to share one of his greatest discoveries with all of you. This special coffee.
